AC Input is where power enters your RV or tiny home. Incoming power might originate from an RV power pedestal (shore power) or a portable generator.
The battery protect serves two main functions:
- Monitors battery voltage and disconnects DC loads in the event of low voltage.
- Acts as a DC load disconnect switch, important when storing system for extended periods.
AC Loads refers to the AC (120V) distribution panel. Power travels from your inverter through the main breaker, and passes to each individual circuit breaker (refrigerator, living room outlets, water heater, etc.)
DC Loads refers to all DC (12V) circuits in your RV (LEDs, water pump, RV control panel, etc.)
