Components & Services Included with Kit:
Wiring Diagram & RV Solar Made Easy eBook
A complete schematic showing how everything connects and a guide with tips for DIY installation. Life-time tech support included.
Lithium Battery Bank
Energy is stored in the battery bank. More batteries can be added, and generally it's recommended to do this within 1-2 years of the original install date.
Solar Array
Solar panels convert light from the sun to usable energy. This energy is used to power loads, and any excess is stored in the battery bank.
Inverter/Charger
An Inverter/Charger serves two functions; The 'Inverter' takes DC energy from the battery bank, and converts this to AC for powering common household appliances like microwaves or air conditioners.
The 'Charger' takes AC energy from the grid (campground pedestal, household outlet, etc.) or a generator, and turns this into DC energy that can be stored within the battery bank.
Solar Charge Controller
The Solar Charge Controller takes high voltage from a solar array, and steps this down to an appropriate voltage for safely charging the battery bank.
Alternator Charging
Optional Add-on: Charge battery bank via the alternator when the vehicle is running. This is a nice supplemental charge source, and especially helpful during inclement weather when solar output may be reduced.
Battery Monitor
An important component of the system, the battery monitor acts as a fuel gauge and will report the battery bank 'State of Charge' from 0-100%.
DC Distribution
The heart of the system, this is where energy is distributed between the battery bank and all loads and chargers.
Switches
These switches allow for isolation between power sources and components. Primarily used to either switch the system into a storage state, or allow for safe maintenance of components.

Advanced Monitoring & Control
Optional Add-on: Greater local and remote system monitoring and control. We highly recommend this option for DIY projects, as you can grant our team remote access for initial programming and technical support as needed.
Wire & Lugs
The length of wire and number of lugs are estimated based on averages across hundreds of projects. In most cases these estimates will suffice, though feel free to adjust lengths and quantities as needed.

Note: The length of wire and number of lugs are estimated based on averages across hundreds of projects. In most cases these estimates will suffice, though feel free to adjust lengths and quantities as needed.
Important:Â If adjusting wire gauge, circuit protection must also adjusted to an appropriate size.
